Okay, it’s not such a secret anymore but it was when we first started making this years ago. Everyone asked about the wonderful rich and deep umami flavor. They couldn’t believe it when we told them the secret sauce was fish sauce! Don’t be scared of fish sauce. It’s brings a depth of flavor that will keep everyone saying this burger patty is the best they’ve ever had! If fish sauce isn't up your alley, Worcestershire or soy sauce are great substitutes.

Ingredients
1lb.(454g)ground turkey
2clovesgarlic, minced
1Tablespoon(15ml)Worcestershire, fish sauce, or soy sauce (fish sauce is our favorite)
In bowl, combine turkey, garlic, Worcestershire sauce (or fish sauce or soy sauce), dried herbs, onion, salt and pepper. Mix everything until just combined.
Divide and flatten into 4 patties about 4” wide. Spray both sides with oil. If you have a smaller air fryer, you’ll have to cook in two batches.
Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for 10-12 minutes, flip after 6 minutes. Cook to your preference or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C. If your patty is thicker, you many need to cook for a few more minutes.
For Turkey Cheeseburgers: add the slices of cheese on top of the cooked patties. Air fry at 380°F/193°C for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to melt the cheese.
For best juiciness, cover the patties and let rest for 3 minutes. Warm the buns in the air fryer at 380°F for about 1 minute while patties are resting. Serve on buns, topped with 1/4 avocado and your favorite burger toppings.
