Yes, it’s possible to air fry a regular size pumpkin pie! This 8-9 inch pumpkin pie is for air fryer ovens or toaster oven styles. Because the heating element will be close to the pie, you’ll get a slightly darker top than you would if cooked in the regular oven. But it’s still a great option to make pie if you’re limited on regular oven space. If you don’t want to use pumpkin pie spice you can use 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ground clove, and 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional). If you like your pies on the sweeter side, you can add some extra sugar into the pie filling mixture.

Grease an 8-9 inch pie pan with about 1 Tablespoon of butter. Lay the sheet of pie dough into the prepared pie pan.
Pinch the edges of the crust to form a decorative edge. Poke holes with a fork on bottom and edges of pie dough. Melt the remaining butter and brush the edges of the pie crust with the melted butter.
In a large bowl, combine together the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, optional sugar, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
Pour pumpkin mixture into crust. Place the pie in the air fryer on the lowest rack.
Air Fry at 280°F for about 40 minutes or until the center of the pie is just barely jiggly. After air fryer is turned off, let the pie rest inside the air fryer for 10 minutes to finish cooking.
Remove pie from air fryer and allow to cool. Chill the pie until ready to serve. Top with whipped topping or whipped cream and cinnamon if desired.
