Air Fryer Frozen Jimmy Dean English Muffin Sandwiches
Adjust timing as needed. Air fryer brands all cook a bit different, and freezer temps will vary. For best and even cooking, don't cook too many at once and overcrowd the basket. Once you cook your first sandwich, you’ll know more of what works for your model of air fryer and size of food. These were tested on basket style air fryers. Read more recipe notes below the recipe. Ingredients
2Jimmy Dean Frozen English Muffin Sandwiches
optional add ons: lettuce, tomato, extra cheese, cooked bacon or ham
optional sauces: ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, ranch, etc.
Separate the breakfast sandwiches in half. Flip the filling so the cheese lays against the bread (because the cheese will blow off if it is on top).
Lay the halved sandwiches in the air fryer basket/tray in a single layer, bread side down and the frozen meat & egg side up.
Air Fry at 340°F/170°C for 6 minutes or until nearly heated through.
Re-assemble the English muffin sandwich. Continue to Air Fry at 340°F/170°C for another 1-2 minutes, or until the bread is golden and sandwich heated through. Add any optional extra ingredients you like.
Notes
Air Frying Tips and Notes:
No Oil Necessary. Cook Frozen - Do not thaw first.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Recipe timing is based on a non-preheated air fryer. If cooking in multiple batches of sandwiches back to back, the following batches may cook a little quicker.
Recipes were tested in 3.7 to 6 qt. air fryers. If using a larger air fryer, they might cook quicker so adjust cooking time.
