Customize the flavors of the sauce to your liking! Add or omit any of the ingredients you prefer. That’s the best part about making a homemade sauce. Add extra chili crisp or chili crunch for an extra kick of spice. The hot water helps dissolve the sugar, but if it isn’t hot, make sure to mix enough to dissolve the sugar.Makes enough sauce for about 8-10 dumplings, potstickers or wontons (works great for egg rolls too). You can always make bigger batch and store in the fridge to keep on hand. Keeps for at least a month stored in the fridge.
1Tablespoon(15ml)chili crisp, optional (or chili garlic sauce or other hot sauce)
Instructions
In bowl, combine all sauce ingredients (soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, hot water, sesame oil, garlic, sesame seeds, and optional chili crisp). Mix to completely dissolve sugar.
Cook the dumplings, potstickers or wontons, in the air fryer or using your favorite method to package instructions.
