This is a simple and great carrot recipe by you can add some garlic or garlic powder, whatever herbs or other seasonings you prefer. Air fried carrots is such a quick & easy side dish. You can easily double this in most air fryers and still cook in a single batch. If you are increasing the quantities more than that, you might need to cook in a couple batches.
Wash the fresh carrots. Slice the carrots diagonally in 1/2-inch thick slices. Make sure they are cut evenly and the same size so they can cook evenly.
Combine the olive oil, herbs, salt & pepper in a bowl. Add the carrots and toss to evenly combine. You can always add a little more oil to keep carrots from drying out, but that will add more calories to the carrots. Try air frying them first and if you feel that you want more oil on the carrots, then add them during that time when you check on them.
Place the raw carrots in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single layer.
Air Fry at 360°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes or until your desired texture. Depending on the size of your carrots, cooking times will vary. So start with about 10 minutes. If you want them more cooked, then stir the carrots and air fry for about another 3-5 minutes.
