Make sure to air fry the bratwurst links in a single layer so they cook evenly. You can air fry as many in a batch that will fit in a single layer in your air fryer basket/tray. If you are cooking a bigger batch, you might need to add extra time to get everything to cook through. Different butchers/brands will vary in their bratwurst sizes as well. Adjust for smaller or larger bratwursts.
Using a toothpick poke a few holes around the bratwursts. Coat outside of bratwurst links with oil spray or olive oil.
Spray the air fryer basket/tray with oil.
Lay raw bratwursts in air fryer basket/tray in a single layer (don't have them overlap).
Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for 8 minutes. Flip the bratwursts over.
Continue to Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for another 4-6 minutes or until bratwursts are cooked through. Poke a hole through the center of the bratwursts to make sure the juices run clear or check the internal temperature with an instant read thermometer to see if they are 165°F/74°C.
If bratwursts are not cooked enough, Air Fry for another 2-6 minutes, or until cooked through.
