What Are Shishito Peppers?

Shishito peppers have a slightly grassy, citrusy flavor with a hint of spice. But beware, sometimes there’s a spicy surprise and when you’re not expecting it, you could be biting into a spice bomb. For the most part, they are not always super spicy and taste like a moderately spicy green bell pepper. If you want, grow shishito peppers yourself. They are a relatively easy pepper to grow in a lot of areas.
