- 1 cup (240 ml) cooked sweet potato , mashed
- 1 cup (240 ml) self rising flour
- oil spray , for basket & rolls
Equipment
Instructions
- In bowl, combine sweet potato and flour. Stir with a fork until a dough ball forms. Make sure to scrape all the flour and sweet potato along the sides of the bowl.

- Spray air fryer basket or tray with oil. Gently place dough balls in the basket, evenly spaced apart. Lightly spray the tops of the dough balls with oil.
- Air Fry at 330°F/165°C for 10-14 minutes or until the rolls are cooked through. Allow to cool and serve with butter or as small slider or sandwich buns.

What about baking into a loaf? Thanks!
Hi J, we’re not sure if it’ll work in the loaf. It might burn on the outside before it gets fully cooked on the inside. But we’ll have it on our list to test and will let everyone know. Thanks!
Any suggested adjustments for using whole wheat flour? Thx
Hi Sara, whole wheat flour might be a little drier, but every brand is definitely. We suggest doing a test batch first with half the recipe. Let us know how it turns out!
I can’t believe how good these turned out. It was crazy easy and I froze my extra rolls. Thanks for the amazing recipe!
