Secret Ingredient for the Best Brie Appetizer

Brie can be pretty mellow in flavor so our secret is adding garlic butter on top. Yes! It’s a simple addition that gives the warm cheesy brie so much flavor. You can add your favorite herbs too. Whether it’s fresh or dried herbs, all these additions take the brie to a whole new level.

Serving Air Fryer Baked Brie Right Before Eating

Because making the air fryer baked brie is pretty quick, it’s best to wait to air fry it right before serving. That way, the brie stays melty and soft. One of the issues with baked brie is that it can become cold and hard super quick. But the addition of melted garlic butter and cooking it right before serving are two key tips for everyone to enjoy it as a melty dip.

Removing the White Rind on Brie

Some folks don’t like the flavor of the white outside rind of brie cheeses. If you don’t like it then you can scrape or slice it off before air frying. Here’s a great history lesson on brie cheese and why the rind isn’t so bad to eat.

Air Fryer Baked Brie Dip with Garlic Butter

It only takes a short time to perfectly air fry the cheese to a delicious melt so it’s best to cook it right before serving. You can prep the brie up to a day or two ahead of time, then airfry just before serving. The brie will harden again if it sits out too long. Just re-heat the brie again in the air fryer to make it all melty.
If you like your brie dip with a touch of sweetness, add a spoonful of honey or jam on top after it's finished cooking.
