How to Make Air Fryer Crispy Breaded Broccoli Bites (tips)

  • Fresh Broccoli vs Frozen Broccoli: Try to use fresh broccoli, it tastes so much better and will be crispier! Sure you can use frozen broccoli, but you have to let it thaw and them drain all the water out of it. And using thawed frozen broccoli won’t be as as crispy because of all the moisture.
  • Even cuts for even cooking: Make sure your broccoli cuts are all even sized for even cooking.
  • Want to make this keto or low carb? Use crushed pork rinds, which is the most keto. You can buy them already pre-ground or grind pork rinds yourself in the food processor.
  • Vegetarian low carb: You an also use almond flour or coconut flour. If you’re using those low carb flours, you have to spray the outside completely so the flour air fried crisp. If you leave any dry flour spots, they will be hard and not crispy.

Air Fryer Crispy Breaded Broccoli Bites

Cooking times will vary depending on the size you cut broccoli and the size of your air fryer. Start on the lowest suggested time, then add more time if needed to your personal liking. One egg should be enough if you stir and soak the broccoli in the egg at the bottom of the bowl. But if you feel like you need more, then use 2 large eggs.
